We Filled an Old Pool and Laid Fresh Sod Over It

An old pool full of green, stagnant water is nobody's idea of a good time. It's a maintenance headache, a safety concern, and honestly just a big waste of space. For this customer, the pool had run its course - and they wanted that area back as usable yard.

Here's what we were working with: a large inground pool sitting full of dark green water. Before we could do anything with the ground, we had to pump it out, break it down, and fill the void properly. That part matters a lot.
